It's what you feel, but can't articulate out loud.
“People fall so in love with their pain, they can’t leave it behind. The same as the stories they tell. We trap ourselves.”— Chuck Palahniuk, Haunted
It’s so painful…feeling friendships drift apart. There’s nothing you can do. It happens so slowly and you’re just standing there, crumbles at your feet of what ones was. With every piece falling, so so much pain. Neither words nor deeds could fix this - broken to the core. All you can do is watch and wonder how you ended up here.
To my inner child:
I promise I am trying my best to heal
from everything that hurt you.
I promise I am trying to become
the person you need me to be
so we can both be whole.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, in Letters (1952)

Losing one’s memories
Who am I?
Am I me without my memories?
Others say they know me,
point to pictures I don’t remember
and say
‘That’s you.’
But if I don’t know who that is
and I don’t know who I am
is that really me?
“Curiously, she didn’t remember when she became exhausted. She didn’t remember when exhausted was no longer exhausted, it just was. The tiredness was in her bones and she accepted this state of being with apathy.”— tara love / it felt like she had been burdened for a century, but it was a year
“Sometimes it feels better not to talk. At all. About anything. To anyone.”— Breaking Bad
